How would &#8220;Go Dancin'&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Snuggle Bunny&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Home Free&#8221; fit into <em>L Extreme<\/em>? Listen up &amp; read on&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: New Benji Hughes Jams from the HOME FREE Soundtrack\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"352\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/playlist\/3zLuPFGAoOcdr4Mejp95bQ?si=3041068dbc544a89&#038;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Go Dancin&#8217;<\/strong><br>&#8220;Make a long list&#8221; from the chorus<sup data-fn=\"8c2eae8b-4b86-492e-9992-cbd69c6c9e1c\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#8c2eae8b-4b86-492e-9992-cbd69c6c9e1c\" id=\"8c2eae8b-4b86-492e-9992-cbd69c6c9e1c-link\">1<\/a><\/sup> naturally aligns with the repeated list motifs found during Benji &amp; Jessica&#8217;s courtship. At the end of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.timelypersuasion.com\/blog\/lx-commentary-18-i-went-with-some-friends-to-see-the-flaming-lips\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2455\">I Went With Some Friends To See The Flaming Lips<\/a>&#8221; the narrator hits us with a <em><strong>l<\/strong>ong <strong>l<\/strong>ist<\/em> of <strong>L<\/strong> words. Jessica ponders finding someone to dance with on the dock upon her Jamaican arrival, and the verses feel like pickup lines Kenny would try. The same line also has a touch of &#8220;ladies roll by&#8221; from &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.timelypersuasion.com\/blog\/lx-chapter-commentary-5-waiting-for-an-invitation\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2166\">Waiting for an Invitation<\/a>.&#8221; The <em>&#8220;up my sleeve&#8221;<\/em> motif once again circles back to magic tricks. <em>&#8220;I don&#8217;t care what it costs&#8221;<\/em> could slip into the Jamaican timeshare sales presentation. <em>&#8220;Setting everything on fire&#8221;<\/em> invokes Jessica quoting a line from &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/vincentmrgreen.bandcamp.com\/track\/burn-featuring-benji-hughes\">Burn<\/a>&#8221; by Vincent &amp; Mr. Green. There&#8217;s also a great giggle in the middle of the song, reminding me of this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cI don\u2019t think I can cook with someone who likes wrestling.\u201d Jessica kept a straight face for a couple of beats, but couldn\u2019t hold it and resumed giggling. Benji also laughed.
