Plan is to have it debut in time for the 30th anniversary in 2015. Sign me up! Check it out and <a title=\"Kickstarter - Back in Time\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/1193589543\/back-in-time\">pledge here<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Speaking of pledges, Mike Doughty is re-imagining a bunch of Soul Coughing songs in an effort to purge the darkness associated with his old band. Though it did spark some fan controversy across social network land, the <a title=\"Mike Doughty: Soul Coughing Songs: Reimagined\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pledgemusic.com\/projects\/mikedoughty\">PledgeMusic campaign<\/a> blew away its goal and the early previews of the in-progress songs are intriguingly good. I&#8217;m excited for the finished product and tentatively reserving a slot on my album of the year list (right behind those rumored <a title=\"Ciancia Management - Benji Hughes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cianciamanagement.com\/BenjiHughes\/\">three albums from Benji Hughes<\/a>&#8230;). Check it out and <a title=\"Mike Doughty: Soul Coughing Songs: Reimagined\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pledgemusic.com\/projects\/mikedoughty\">pledge here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Continuing my loose segues through these bullets, my &#8220;at the half&#8221; candidates for album of the year would be\u00c2\u00a0<a title=\"We The Common by Thao &amp; the Get Down Stay Down\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00B1MJ9V2?tag=timelpersu-20\"><em>We The Common<\/em><\/a> by Thao &amp; The Get Down Stay Down,\u00c2\u00a0<a title=\"Fade by Yo La Tengo\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00AYL7OAY?tag=timelpersu-20\"><em>Fade<\/em><\/a> by Yo La Tengo, the all request\u00c2\u00a0<a title=\"Wilco Live at Solid Sound 6.21.13\" href=\"http:\/\/wilco.kungfustore.com\/category\/491-roadcase\/product\/4277-roadcase-018-june-21-2013-north-adams-ma-wilr18\">all-covers set<\/a> Wilco did at Solid Sound, and\u00c2\u00a0<a title=\"Charge by David Ford\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00BKBGJ3K?tag=timelpersu-20\"><em>Charge<\/em><\/a> by David Ford.<\/li>\n<li>Made a good 4000+ words worth of progress on the forthcoming\u00c2\u00a0<em>Duty Calls<\/em> novel on a recent vacation. It&#8217;s slowly coming together, but still likely at least a year out. (Let&#8217;s say if I finish it before the aforementioned 30th anniversary of BTTF I&#8217;ll be happy.)
